Minnesota, like other states before it, is in
the process of losing its recreational character and
opportunities. If nothing is done, it will follow the same path that more
crowded east coast and west coast states have already taken
and will arrive at the same outcome. Minnesota, however,
will have lost more than most other states because its
personality and outside reputation are more linked to its
